Kayak lago Del Desierto

Full day option, ideal for those who want to enjoy the experience of touring the Lake by kayak and enjoy everything that surrounds it. We start the tour with the transfer that will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the Desert Lake. We arrived at the Desert Lake and met the guide. We held a talk about rowing technique, route to be done and safety measures. We placed the equipment to row. We leave from the South Point of the Lake of the Desert, depending on the weather the guide will indicate the place of departure.

Once in the water we start the paddling towards Bahía Tranquila. It is a stretch of approximately 40 minutes of rowing that we do in numerous shorter sections, with stops to rest, appreciate the views of the glaciers Huemul and Vespignani and talk a little about the lake around us. When we get to Bahía Tranquila we find a beautiful

bay surrounded by forest with beach totally protected from the wind, the water is very crystalline and shallow so it will allow us to visualize the bottom and look for some trout with the view. We make a landing on the beach to rest about 20 minutes and eat a small snack before starting the return.

On the way back we arrived again in Punta Sur where we left all the equipment and we have free time until the transfer back to El Chaltén (approximately 2 hours).
